Frequently asked
Questions

Do I have to be home?

No. The majority of our clients’ lawns are serviced during normal working hours. All we need is access to all areas of your property that have grass. Unless otherwise instructed by you, a member of our team will complete their work and leave information pertaining to that day’s services at your door.

What about lawn disease?

We will notify you if your lawn shows any signs of disease and advise you on the best treatment. Our regular program does not include treatment for lawn disease.

Can I mow my lawn after an application?

We recommend waiting 24 hours to mow and advise not collecting clippings for two mowings.

How do you determine the height to cut my lawn?

There are a number of factors when deciding what height to cut your lawn. Most commonly it is based on the time of year. In the spring we typically mow lower. As the temperatures increase, grass needs to be cut higher to combat the heat. During the hot summer months, we mow your lawn high to allow it to be as thick and green as possible. Entering the cooler fall months, we slowly transition to cutting the grass shorter again each week. If you would prefer your lawn cut a different length at any time, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate.

What kind of equipment do you use?

We use the best commercial equipment and high quality products on the market.

What happens if damage is caused on my property? Or if I am not happy with a service?

If there is damage caused on your property after one of our services or you are not satisfied with our work, contact our office right away so we can make it right.

How often do you bill? How do I pay?

We bill monthly for our lawn mowing and snow removal services. When it comes to our fertilization service, we leave the bill at your front door after we have completed fertilizing your yard.

What happens when it rains or you get delayed?

Rain is the most common cause of delays with your mowing. We do our best to work through light to medium amounts of rain when safe, depending on the upcoming forecasts. If we get behind for any reason we will always be out the following day.

What are your service days? Can I choose my mowing day?

We schedule mowing Monday through Thursday. Fridays are our make-up days for inclement weather throughout the week. If you would like to choose a specific mowing day, let us know when you set up services so we can schedule accordingly.

What time can I expect my driveway/lot to be clear during snow removal?

Snow removal times are based on each customer’s needs and are flexible. We will discuss this with you at the beginning of the snow season and are happy to adjust if your schedule requires it.

How do I cancel my service?

No same-day cancellations are accepted. We hope you stay with us for the entire season, however if needed you may cancel service at any time.
